Self-Deceiver was formed in Sao Paulo Brazil in 2012 by Jorge and Sergio friends from old days. In 2016 the band moved to Bogotá Colombia and resumed rehearsing and composing resulting in the set of songs that later became the Across The Styx album, songs and lyrics that were written and polish during the following years until in 2020 when the band enter to record at Dark Angel Media Labs.
